Our History
THADU CONSTRUCTION is the new name for competence and service excellence in the construction sector. We've been in the construction sector having worked with Brighter Homes from September 1986, until it was sold in December 2001 Two of the directors worked with Brighter Homes as an agent to Natal Building Society. N.B.S was also involved with Property Consultants like J.H. Isaacs, Broll and others. Brighter Homes was given the task to renovate all the houses and buildings bought by N.B.S. We were doing renovations, interior decorations including wallpaper, partitioning, plumbing, electricity installations and maintenance and horticulture.
This is a memorable time for Thadu construction. It is when the director's of the company started work under the Natal Building Society in association with a company called Brighter Homes.
We commenced working on a subcontract for Farrissan Building Constructors in
January.
February 2004 marks the official birth of Thadu Construction. The time was ripe for the company to be well established as an independent entity. We moved out of the nest (the companies we had initially worked for) because only those companies we were subcontracting to got the credit for our workmanship. Our association with Brighter Homes, Farrissan and Refemo was a blessing in terms of experience and skills.
After so many challenges and obstacles that revolve around the construction sector, Thadu construction is still operational. We continue to grow from strength to strength while accumulating sector expertise and revenue and are determined to be in business for generations to come.
